Opening Announcement
Hello everyone
ArtHub Athens will be soon with you.
ArtHubAthens is a non-profit centre for promoting young greek artists and introducing them to people abroad. It aims to create a bridge between the Athens contemporary art scene and the rest of the world of contemporary art.
ArtHub Athens is a non-profit organization that promotes Greek contemporary art abroad and familiarizes the foreign art scene with the domestic one.
Towards that aim, apart from exhibiting work of Greek artists, we will be focusing mainly on the following things :
a) Helping young Greek artists create a CV, form a portfolio and advising them towards their future goals.
b) Inviting foreign artists, curators and critics to visit and familiarize with the Athens art scene, give lectures and organize workshops.
c) Present the work of young artists from all over the globe to the greek art audience.
d) An exchange residency program will begin in 2013 with non-profits in Belgium, UK, Germany and other countries.
ArtHub Athens is an open space for artists to meet, exchange and develop creative ideas, show their work, get access to free help and group work, view presentations and share positive thinking.
Talks, visitors and residencies are also in our future plans.
